At the heart is a 247.7 cm³ 1-cylinder, 2-stroke engine with a 6-speed transmission, liquid cooling with fan motor, and a simple, dependable kickstarter. Fuel-mixture generation is handled by a Keihin PWK 28 carburetor and a HIDRIA ECU. Braking confidence comes from BRAKTEC hardware with a 185 mm front disc and 150 mm rear disc.
