The NIU UQi+ moped scooter doesn't require a license or a plate. It resembles an electric bicycle thanks to its real pedals and its 32 km/h speed limit. However, according to new regulations, its non-adjustable seat makes it unsuitable for road use in Quebec. It can still be used on certain trails or bike paths, at the campsite, at home, on a track, or in many other locations. It's much less expensive to operate and is accessible to everyone. Equipped with a modern 4th generation battery and a BOSCH motor, the UQi+ is powerful with good acceleration.
